Biography

When he launched Fantastic Friends Recordings in 2009, Nicolas Duvoisin certainly couldn’t bet on being able to celebrate the label’s 10th birthday one day. Essentially focus- sing on vinyl in the early years, the label soon diversified its output to digital formats, thereby making its music available to a wider audience.
At the moment, Fantastic Friends Recordings has put out over 20 vinyl releases and over
60 digital EPs, on either of its two main cata- logues: Fantastic Friends Limited (vinyl & dig- ital) and Fantastic Friends VO (vinyl-only). To increase the label’s visibility and showcase its artists, FFR has organised over 100 “label nights” around the globe (San-Francisco, Berlin, Paris,
Zürich, Lausanne, Copenhagen...) and sustained precious long-term partnerships with several well-known clubs over the past 10 years.
Fantastic Friends also offers 2 podcasts per month with the name “Made with love” where you can find the the label’s roster, friends and partners, or simply just music that makes its heart beat.
In 2018, as the label blossoms, the management team has also grown and now includes Jules Parenti (Modeling Motion) for all promotion-re- lated activities, Cédric Borgo (Borgò) as com- munity manager, Anthony Reber (Reber) copy- writing and translations, Olivier for accounting and of course Nicolas Duvoisin as artistic director
