Biography

Codenamed #MP.COM is former YOKKO singer-turned-songwriter/producer #aNTHONY. Music was his passion from an early age. At the age of 12, a keyboard and a TASCAM multitrack recorder were all the rage - when there was no MP3 and the famous apple. He started recording his first songs in the home studio at the age of 12 - it was the starting signal for a long expedition that continues to this day. At the age of 21, his first "real" record deal followed with DJ BOBO's former label, and the first releases with airplay chart nominations followed. During more than 20 years further highlights followed, among others the founding of his own production company MOVEPRODUCTIONS.COM in 2004, which today sells music on all 5 continents & has grown into an advanced independent label. 2006 his first band project, which was renamed from DAVIDDS to YOKKO in 2010. The promotion of his label got the ball rolling and a record deal in the USA followed as well as festival appearances with James Blunt, Anastacia, Kim Wilde, Mike & the Mechanics etc. In 2011 they parted ways with YOKKO for personal reasons. A digital relaunch followed in 2017 and the comeback with MOVEPRODUCTIONS.COM as a music label, whereby he focused on songwriting but also the promotion of young local projects. In 2017 he registered titles at the EUROVISION SONG CONTEST for the first time. In 2021/22, two of his productions qualified for the semi-finals of over 25,000 songs from all over the world at the renowned songwriting contest in the UK & USA. #aNTHONY also writes music for the advertising market and the film industry, where he was able to gain a foothold in the B2B market with global partners.
