Biography

STANE are Stane (vocals), Philippe (guitar), Yvan (bass) and Fab (drums). Veterans of the Geneva music scene, they played in various cover and original bands for over 25 years. They met in October 2017 and decided to form STANE.

Influenced by Glenn Hughes, The Dead Daisies, Red Hot Child Peppers, or even Nirvana, Blue and Aabram immediately connected musically and put together solid material for 20 songs in just a few weeks.

STANE released their first single “Honey Honey Honestly” on January 12, 2018, including an original video for the title song. The band plans to release a full-length album, including more videos, by the end of the year.

STANE's style combines muscular riffs, catchy melodies, and a powerful, pounding sound. The band’s influence is deeply rooted in classic rock, but can happily include tonalities inspired by oriental or gypsy music, metal, funk, folk or even electro.
