Nick Kamen's world hit "I Promised Myself" will be released on October 12, 2018 in a new version of CLANGUSAR feat. Mara. The result is an easy dance/pop title with the angelic voice of Mara alias Tiziana Niederberger. DJ and producer Pascal Seiler, together with Stefan Bregy and Sam Gruber, has rearranged "I Promised Myself" and created a contemporary version.
In the music video the Walliser legend of Katharina von Wattenburg from Meiringen is processed. Katharina falls in love immortally with a son of a farmer from Goms. But the noble family of Katharina forbids this connection. Therefore the lovers secretly decide to marry in the St. Nikolaus Chapel in Elmi ob Oberwald. On a full moon night Katharina makes her way over the Grimsel to the chapel, but never arrived there and is considered to have disappeared without a trace until today...
According to legend, the poor soul of Katherina still mourns her lover and was sighted again and again after a full moon night in the Grimsel area.
