I'm sitting alone here in my white-walled room
when i look outside it seems that rain is coming soon.
my heart seems to be one of these grey clouds
waiting for someone to share my doubts - let it all out

the first few drops are hitting the ground
somehow smooth but also sad from the sound
and as you might know it feels like in chains
when you are waiting for the, for the weather to change

deep inside i hope the sun will shine again
and i know one day it will, but when?
i'm just waiting for the clouds to unleash the sky
there's nothing i can do, and if, i wouldn't dare to try.

i'd like to enjoy the sweet taste of life again
cause if nothing's gonna change there's not much to remain
i pushed myself way to far into this deep black hole
refused everything good until i lost control

lighting flashes across the sky and with it comes thunder
and in this second of brightness the world looks like going under
the role in which i am doesn't feel like home - somehow strange
and i'm still waiting for the weather to change

i suffered too much and i've seen enough
i've cried for too long and yeah it was tough.
there's no time to hesitate
there's no further second i would wait
so i get up surrender to whatever may come
i want to run fast and chase the sun
now it's time for everything to be rearranged
i step outside cause the weather wants to be changed

deep inside i knew the sun will shine again
and now i know all the doubts and sorrows where in vain
you can sit and wait for the clouds to unleash the sky
but there's always something you can do, you just have to try
