In Angelo Bellocchi's scores, the melody comes first, supported by homogenized harmonies and complex colors. Very eclectic, he is able to write all kind of music; action, romantic, horror, drama, high octane mixture of orchestral madness, or spaghetti western.
His first concern about a soundtrack is to fulfil the client's requests. He is aware that the music must serve the movie and not the other way around.
Bellochi's fine reputation crossed the atlantic, he's been hired to work on many Hollywood movies, such as the 2005 Locarno winner of the Suisa Prize for Best Score, Duane Adler’s God Waiting List, or the ten million dollar movie Cut Off, featuring Faye Dunaway and Malcolm McDowell.
He also composes for the small screen, writing many catchy themes for commercials.
