Biography

Calea is a pop & RnB singer and songwriter from the canton of Zug, Switzerland. Even as a child she made a lot of music and wrote her own lyrics. She took her first steps into music with a violin. However, she gave up playing the violin after a few years and discovered her interest in playing the piano. She has been playing the piano for around ten years now and also uses it to write her songs. She later learned to play the guitar self-taught so that she could accompany her songs in different ways. The idea of writing and realizing her own music came to her spontaneously when she picked up her guitar and sang a few lyrics. She sang whatever came to her mind and wrote a whole song. She writes about her own experiences or the people around her. In March 2021, she found Roda Music Studios in Cham and started making music there with her producer Danny Carlson. She is particularly interested in psychology, which is why some of her lyrics are about it. Being able to transform psychology and human behavior into music is a gift that she tries to foster more and more in her creativity. In her new EP, which will be released in 2024, she sings about the "7 Stages of Grief" and embodies them in 7 songs. Calea is still working with her producer Danny Carlson and is studying Audio Engineering Music Production at SAE Zurich.
