Coalescence is the physical process by which two or more droplets, bubbles, particles or other things merge during contact to form a single and bigger droplet, bubble, particle or something else...

Coalescer is a musical project from Switzerland founded in 2018 by Romain Stamm. It focuses on the decline of a person (the coalescer) accumulating complications (coalescence) untill he ends up quitting everything to live in the forest.

Musically, the project challenges itself to bring to the fore what is missing in music most of the time: atmospheres; trying to merge everything that is good in music, rock, metal, electro, industrial, noise into a unique and new recognizable identity, placed in the forest: the most fundamental place, where we all come from.

Every Coalescer album has a number and tells the same story, from another perspective. They take place in two different areas : the first songs are in the town and the rest in the woods. All the instruments in the albums, except for the guitars and the vocals, are recorded in the swiss forest.

For the full and complete experience, Coalescer's music is mastered and optimized to be listened 1) in the forest 2) with headphones 3) not necessarily completely sober (alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health)
