Biography

Dead Dog Cafe was formed in 2007. Their debut album 'Cleaning Out The Clutter' came out in (2009) followed by "Dissociation" (2015) and the EP "In which world" (2017).
In 2022, with the arrival of new singer Garance, the band is releasing their new album ‘HELIUM’
Now the group is getting ready to launch its most important activity: performing on stage!
In 2024, the band will offer a powerful, massive and melodic show, at the crossroads of Rock, Metal and Punk!

The origins:
Formed in 2007 by Cedric (Guitar/Bass) and the singer Emster in Switzerland, Dead Dog Cafe made a name for themselves with their debut album 'Cleaning Out The Clutter' (2009), offering a unique and original style!
The band have shared stages with Mass Hysteria (FR), Café Bertrand (FR), Subsonic (FR) and Smokin' Barrels (UK), and have been featured in numerous media (24 Heures, La Région, Transit Magazine, webzine Zicuaire, Contre-Culture Info, Rouge FM - Red Rock Les Patriotes, Radio Chablais - Rock en Folie, MusicOmax, etc.).
2014 Arrival of Gil (drums and percussion), Cédric's former sidekick from Blind Addiction. Blind Addiction, the band that opened the stage on several occasions for Gojira and Dagoba.
Period of composition, studio, and tours of the album: In 2018 DEAD DOG CAFE won the FMF springboard organized by Wings Music Event.

During the dark period of 2019-2020, Cédric immerses himself in the composition of a new album, the creation of his demos saw the arrival of Garance on vocals who brought new original vocal lines, her magnificent texts engraved in the paper of her poetry notebooks between France, England, Australia and Switzerland led to the inspiration of the brightest and most accomplished of the band's albums.
In the summer of 2022, a dream came true: the construction of the DDC studio.
In the heart of the Swiss Alps, in our magnificent studio, the 'Helium' album is recorded and arranged, with a few electro touches composed by Gil's family, who will be on hand to compose and record the drum/percussion lines, as well as recording the string instruments and vocals performed by Garance.
Cédric, hard at work recording the guitars and bass, as well as additional guitar lines recorded in Quebec by Seb (former member of Blind Addiction) adding the final layer of creation.
The album is mixed and mastered in the USA at Jeffro's studio (JeffroMixProd).
During the recording period, the following singles is released:
"Paradise" and its 3 electro versions, "Water's Skin" and its video, "Cut me in Half" and "Mother" broadcast on Couleur3,RNV and Vertical radio stations.
These tracks are included on the 'Helium' album.
