Biography
At the dawn of my tenth year, I discovered the enchanting rhythms of drums and percussion, initiating my musical journey. Guided by my passion, I ventured into various musical groups in Bienne, Switzerland, among which "Café Sombre" stood out, an Italo-pop group whose melodies graced the airwaves of RETE3, notably with the song "Fiume".
Since 2007, my interests have expanded into the realms of music production and promotion. I had the pleasure of producing Laura Marea's refined single in Bologna (Fonoprint), titled "Mare e Neve" (http://mx3.ch/lauramarea), where my drumming talent shone, while also establishing my own label, "Musica Edipiù" (www.musica-edipiu.com).
In 2017, I had the opportunity to showcase my own repertoire of French songs as a singer-songwriter at the Théâtre Palace in Bienne, just before the performance of Romain Didier, a French singer. My ambition was to bridge the gap between French songs and the classical music world. My repertoire was orchestrated by my musical director, Jean Sidler, the violinist from the Bienne Symphony Orchestra.
Since 2018, I've dedicated myself to shaping this repertoire alongside the talented musical director Alessandro Di Liberto and other jazz musicians based in Sardinia. It was on this island that I recorded my debut album, "Le voyage," engineered by Marti Jane Robertson, and had the privilege of presenting it at Salle Farel in Bienne in 2019, where the virtuoso Michaela Paetsch splendidly enriched the ensemble with her violin.
In this year 2023, I am delighted to unveil my second eight-track album, "Lune," a creation I am presenting at Salle Farel in Bienne, Switzerland. For this occasion, a string quartet accompanies my work, under the direction of Jean Sidler.
I am currently in the midst of preparing a show that will encompass my entire repertoire in collaboration with my musical director, Alessandro Di Liberto.
