Franzone

Biography

As a Swiss music producer and DJ, Franzone brings a unique and non-mainstream sound to the scene. With a background in spinning 70s and 80s disco and funk records, he has transitioned to producing his own rhythm-based and danceable electro and synth pop tracks, infusing them with a distinct 80s influence, while still maintaining a fresh and innovative edge.

Another project by Franzone is "Edwin van Flexx" in collaboration with rappers from all over the world, showcasing his versatility and adaptability as a music producer.

He was a long-time member of the electro duo "Skip The Class" and some of their tracks can be found on the legendary "Electric Dance Sampler", during this time he also served as a warm-up DJ for local acts.
He also managed the pop band "Art Happens" and brought together the band members.

It's worth noting that the name Franzone is derived from the Italian language, meaning "big Franz" and has nothing to do with the English word "one". 😉
