Biography
What once was a precious insider tip and only known to a few music nerds within a select circle has long become the indie export out of Lucerne, Switzerland. We’re talking about the one-man-hit-band Haubi Songs. His three records Orange (2015), Ergendwie Zäme (2017) and Highlife (2019) turned the swiss champion of understatement into an audience’s darling. Under his alter ego Haubi Songs multiinstrumentalist und songwriter Nick Furrer poetically experiments with the squiggles and oddities of the swiss german language and adds his own twist to long-established colloquialisms. 2021 sees the release of his 4th album 100 Siite Heartbreak with Swiss record label Red Brick Chapel.
