Jeremy Ratib

Biography

Jeremy manipulates both image and sound, operating in the space between the strange and the beautiful, at the fringes of reality. A child of the virtual era, he wanders the network limbo, seeking out ghostly memories, fragments of forgotten data that serve as raw material.

His last album, We, Sacred, written and self recorded between Biel and Zürich, is situated at the intersection between experimental folk and ethereal rock. He tries to depict a futuristic vision of the sacred liberated from the divine, looking to find meaning in the ruins of our time.

A self-taught tinkerer of Swiss origin, Jeremy currently works in Zürich.
