Although his name would make you think otherwise, Junior Little’s plan is far from small. He is geared up to succeed. Since 2008, the thought-to-be 24 year old is working with Montreal based producer and songwriter Julien Turmel (Ministry of Sound). One goal: create an album that people would not easily forget. Junior Little’s yet untitled debut album is set for a late 2011 release - unless a major label acts first...

Junior Little is electro pop at its finest - combining substantial song writing with trendsetting, cutting edge sound. The last three years were a fiery creative road for the young artistic man. It led him to leave the comfort of the family nest and abandon the academic world for good - the singer graduated in Geneva at one of Switzerland most renowned university. Starting on the adventure to bring Junior Little to life.

Annie Lennox, Robyn, Veto and Phoenix are among his biggest musical inspirations while his producer worked with guidelines from Sonic Youth, The Postal Service, Peaches and Massive Attack. Junior Little co-wrote and co-composed all the yet finished tracks with Turmel, who added edginess and a «fierce attitude» to the music. Prior to his collaboration with Junior Little, Turmel had co-created and produced bands such as ''The Urbanauts'' and ''Runner and the Jet''.

NINE PLANETS

Nine Planets is the first release of the yet to be completed debut album. Nine Planets takes you on a journey back into the «what-do-I-mind-ies». The chorus merges Junior Little‘s comforting vocals with the frantic sound of a collapsing spacecraft. It is a soothing hymn to sing-along and dance to. You strongly feel the influence of the sound of the smoky yet dynamic 80s disco. Just imagine Annie Lennox featuring Robyn or Lady Gaga... but message oriented with carefully crafted music.

Selling great danceable music not a poster boy, prefabricated product is Junior Little's goal. He simply takes on where many pop singers may have missed out: genuineness in creativity.
