Karin Cerini

Biography

Karin Cerini is a singer-songwriter from Locarno (Ticino) Switzerland. She wrote and composed for the selection of the Eurovision Song contest the song "Sorry" which talks about the disparity between men and women and the many prejudices and social stereotypes that continue to exist and that affect the lives of many women and girls. Sorry is a song that expresses a concept of freedom and the right to be able to freely live one's life without discrimination, violence, inequality and without having to apologizes for what one is.
During the first lockdown time she wrote #restacasa for the #rapthecovidti initiative and recorded the videoclip with her cell phone in her home. The video had a great success on Facebook with over 12’000 views.
