Biographie

Lia Nxieta knows perfectly well that courage cannot exist without fear and that latter leads the way when it comes to personal growth. It is in her music where she celebrates and manifests every step of her path. She creates a sonic home for her listeners as her empowering and still vulnerable lyrics paint images of marking moments in life and love.

In January 2021, her solo career as Lia Nxieta finally started off with a bittersweet female-power-pop-song “Fantasy” followed by the energetic 80s synth-pop infused RnB ballad “Sixty Seconds” at the end of April. Both tracks were produced by longtime producer Yoan Masao. Even with limited tools for promotion both songs received attention by several new-hot-music playlists like Cross Spot and HYPED as well as from radio stations like Kanal K, B-Sounds and the online radio Amazing Radio UK.

This small buzz helped her to get her first booking as Lia Nxieta just as the venues were allowed to slowly reopen their doors at the end of May this year. Nxieta held her first gig in a double concert with Belia Winnewisser at the culturally renown venue Klub Kegelbahn on the 15th of June. With the upcoming release of her third official single “Good Boy” the artist continues to claim and manifest her space in the current popular music scene, which slowly but surely opens its eyes.
