Biography
Nola, 22, is a singer-songwriter and medical student in Basel. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, drums, cello...), she writes and produces urban, dynamic, in-depth songs - mostly in English and French, but that doesn't stop her from experimenting with other languages. Her multilingualism gives her the freedom to play with words and create surprising associations in her lyrics. Already on her debut album "Océan des émotions", released in 2019, Nola delighted her listeners with her impressive clear voice and her clever, ironic lyrics. In her second album "Facettes" (2021), she continues to develop her distinctive style by combining different genres: Pop, Rap and Ballad. Radio Basilisk, Couleur3, SRF Virus, Option Musique and Radio X have featured her songs. She was able to present her music at this year's TEDxZurich "Re-Building" and at the Jugenkulturfestival 2023. The stage is the place for NOLA, where she lets herself and her audience blossom.
