Biography

Characterised by influences from blues, stoner and psychedelic rock, as well as elements of progressive and post-rock, Oakhead's intense sound started to form in 2013.
The music can be slow and delicate or fast, loud and excessive. The absence of vocals shifts the audiences attention and allows for a more immersive experience of the music. Combined with a lot of space for improvisation, it gets reshaped at every performance which creates a unique journey in one quickly gets lost and forgets about space and time.
