Biography
Formed in 2018, Paisley Tones are a Zurich-based music group. Having played festival stages in the summer of said year, they retreated to their downtown home studio and started merging pulsating blues rock and varied harmonies into their own music, which they call "paisley pop". In 2019, the Swiss band released their first single, "Game in the Dark". Nodding to 60s garage rock, the song features the voices of lead singers Julien G. and Nik Münger. Contributing to Julian Booker's distinctive drumming, guitarist Raphi Stiegerer played the claptonesque solo in the ending choruses. A few months later the band published their second single "Look Out. (The Friendzone)" which was written by Nik Münger and produced by Julien G. Following a more sophisticated arrangement and production, it targets a broad audience of classic rock and indie listeners. Paisley Tones are currently playing various venues in Zurich.
