Biography

Swiss & Malta based Singer - Songwriter. Philippe & Gabriel is a self-taught musician who just released his first album entitled “Les Rivières Folk” during the last months of 2021. This music project completely created in remote working collaborations brought together several folk, country and jazz artists, from different countries. It covers the Folk genre in it's broader term not shy from borrowing sounds from various cultures. It all started in 2018 when the artist met Roberto Tola, the multi awarded and Grammy Awards candidate Italian guitarist, composer and arranger. Together they reworked some songs to give them a better rhythmic and harmonic structure and accompanied them with subtle arrangements of guitars. Philippe & Gabriel then reached out to several studio in Argentina, Senegal, UK ... and did start online collaborations spanning from night jams to artists remote recording. There are more than 30 artists in this album having guests appearances.
