Biography

Quadri, alias Adrien Quartenoud, comes from the countryside of Fribourg, its choirs and its brass bands. It is however in an alternative environment that he evolves musically. From the trash rock'n'roll of The Electric Plugs to the synth pop of Francis Francis, an overflow composed of musical passion, creative work and growing family pushes him to take a break.

Without a sidekick, Quadri turns into a caveman and creates synthetic music based on the “let go” principle. During summer 2021, he composed and recorded seven tracks in one evening each (“Sept jours” album). This project was followed by the “Une lune” album, edited on a one song monthly rhythm during seven months. Each new title leaves room for the emotion of the moment, as it is. Authentic in his energy, free in his methods, Quadri navigates towards ambient and releases the meditative album Reflexive Loop in January 2023, then its variant Independant Reflexive Loop a few weeks later.

His fourth album, also atmospheric and meditative, is scheduled for spring 2023.
