Biography
As a singer-songwriter, Sagalina shares her enthousiasm for life through her
passion for music. In addition to being a jovial and sunny person, the core values
of the Swiss artist from Lausanne are authenticity and sharing.
She has vivid memories of the first time she heard ‘When You Believe’ by Whitney
Houston and Mariah Carey, creating in her a true appreciation for the music of
these iconic women and an intense desire to one day become an artist herself.
Bringing together both these legends and modern R&B artists like SZA, H.E.R., or
Summer Walker, Sagalina's musical inspirations are varied.
She knew how to charm her followers with her numerous covers posted on social
medias. Whether in French, English, or even Albanian, the artist appropriates the
songs with ease and originality. This led her to be invited to collaborate on musical
projects, such as ‘Harimaadee’ by the Somali rapper RO X, honoring at the same
time her culture of origin.
She recently released the lead single from her first EP, coming out November 25th. "CANNOT STAY" is a true R&B track in which the artist claims that she's over the toxic relationship she's been in for too long. It's a women empowerment anthem.
