Biography

Born out of a whimsical beer-infused moment after an FC St. Gallen game, these guys paved their way into the realm of Irish Punk Rock. After spending a few years in Switzerland, their palpable success made it clear that they needed to transcend the Swiss borders. With a view towards the vast world of rock, they swiftly discovered opportunities to perform abroad, which they tackled with equal triumph.

Subsequent appearances in countries like Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Holland, and Italy followed in quick succession, eventually leading to the chance to tour with Fiddlers Green. This opened new horizons, guiding the band to many legendary clubs and subsequently to magnificent festivals.

Within their impressive roster of nearly 400 performances, one can find esteemed festivals such as St. Gallen Open Air, Open Flair, and Pol and Rock Festival. With a potent blend of Irish folk tunes and authentic punk rock, they ushered in a musical era that leaves everyone astounded.

What truly sets apart the Saint City Orchestra is not just their songs, but the electrifying performances and wild party atmosphere they ignite at every gig. This unique fusion of raw passion and sheer zest for life transforms their live shows into unforgettable spectacles.

Having already released two albums, one EP, and ten singles, they have achieved remarkable milestones. More releases are in the pipeline. In 2022, they collaborated with Principal Studios and the renowned producer Jörg Umbreit, with plans to unveil new singles in 2023. The Saint City Orchestra is on the fast track and always ready for new adventures.
