Bored of the boundaries of western pop music, the boys of Swiss Psychedelic-World-Rock Band Saitün delve into the possibilities of world music, questioning solidified structures in their earlier artistic work. That diversity of genres and cultural identities is woven into a playful, yet urgent firework.
It doesn’t take long for their energetic sound to be heard in 2018, despite just being founded and barely findable on the internet. The Basel based quartet plays a string of shows in renowned clubs and festivals throughout Switzerland, sharing the stage with the likes of Liraz (ISR), The Heavy (UK) or The Mystery Lights (US).
With their massive debut, Saitün accomplishes to seduce the listener into a psychedelic adventure with an uncertain and surprising ending. A band to be heard.
