Serin Cini

Biography

Serin Cini is a Geneva-based dreampop band. Their sound woos their audience into luscious pop and electro-jazz universe, completed by French and English poetical lyrics. Their name is that of alpine yellow birds that particularly like mountains and sun-touched landscapes. Inspired by the voices of Crumb, Men I Trust and Beach House, their aesthetics is also informed by the spellbound sound of indie-soul artist Jordan Rakei and Scandinavian jazz band Esbjörn Svensson Trio (E.S.T.). Serin Cini’s sound yields softness and calm, while remaining energetic and positive throughout. The band was formed in 2022 and joined the label and collective Les Attitudes in 2023.
