Biography

It all started with a Punkrock band called TY-COBB in 1998. A short story, that ends with the collapse of the bands pratice room in a hard hailstorm. Nearly the whole equipment was damaged.

In the late 90ies the heavy explosion of Skandinavien Rock hits the swiss alps. A new orientation of the band, back to the early roots of Rock 'n' Roll, takes action.

Here the story of the Roebucks begins. In 1999 the band got a new name and a new sound. After many club gigs the bucks make their second Demo called “First” (the real first one went never puplic) with grandpas 8-Track, durring the winter of 2002/2003 . “Frozen fingers and too much whiskey to warm up”, is the best description for this tape. Nightclubing again in the swiss undergrund.

At the beginning of 2005 the Roebucks make another EP (7 tracks) in the Somarecord-Studio at Zofingen. They decide not to contact any label and stay independend, so these EP is just to get on concerts or internet.

The band is now official in coorporation with their long time friends of the Acoustic Desaster Records - a full Album is planed for autum 2007.
