Biography
Bordering on indie pop-rock, Yael Miller’s intense minimalism draws her listeners to the heart of her unique and iconoclastic musical landscape. Her highly personal songs spring from her Israeli roots, the seeds planted since her move to Geneva, and influences grafted from all corners of the earth.
Yael Miller sings in English, French and Hebrew, and accompanies herself on Wurlitzer piano and synthesizers; Roland Merlinc and Baptiste Germser provide a harmonious backdrop on drums and bass.
On the heels of her rich experience leading the modern jazz group Orioxy, today vocalist Yael Miller is headed for new musical horizons. Her premiere EP was released in September, 2017, and her first full-length album is scheduled to come out in the autumn of 2018.
