Biography
Even as a young kid, ZOEY aspired to a career in music. Now she is 18 years old and has quit school in order to follow her dreams of being a musician. She discovered her love of performing as a small toddler. But at first like any other music schoolchild. "I definitely wasn't a child prodigy. However, I was lucky enough to have found my destiny early on, which I still pursue today with my strong mind."
The determination is paying off. The multi-instrumentalist has already played at the Hallenstadion. This summer she opens the famous Openair Etziken. In fall ZOEY is going to study in PreCollege at the Zurich University of the Arts and in november she performs as support at the concert of Anna Rossinelli at the Mühle Hunziken.
As a teenager, Billie Eilish gave her the courage to start writing songs and producing in her bedroom. Afterwards she wrote her very first song to come out publicly and provide people from the LGBTQIA+ community with the courage she has through music. After her first single Who I Am she is going to release her next song titled "Tonight" and the debut EP will be followed this fall. ZOEY and her producer Miro Wolf are working in the well-known Powerplay Studios (Maur), where popular artists such as Lady Gaga or Gianna Nannini have worked before. This stunning environment gives free rein to her creativity.
Despite her young age, she is able to write about topics of high emotional impact. Whether it's about love, loneliness, self-identity or mental health, ZOEY aims to accomplish one thing most: "I want to make my listeners feel taken seriously with everything they are going through whether it's coming out, tackling deep issues, or having the best night of their life tonight. My music only becomes powerful once I share its themes with the community."
