Biography
Zuludog is a solo musician and multi-instrumentalist originally from Georgia, USA and based in Zurich, Switzerland.
There's never really a point where Andrew Fitzpatrick, aka Zuludog, had the epiphany to play music. He started off playing drums around age 12 and played in different bands ranging from pop music to metal. Wanting something more harmonious, he picked up a shabby Fender Strat when he was 18 and learned how to play off of YouTube tutorials. From then on, guitar became almost an obsession that led him to experiment with other instruments such as bass, synth and vocals. With all these ingredients, he ultimately cooked up and home-recorded his DIY debut album ''Sideline''.
Zuludog's music combines the experimental and pop feel of indie rock with heavy guitar solos inspired by blues pillars such as Marcus King, BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughan and the likes. In his latest release ''Movin' On (Slowed)'', he explores his vocal side, playing with more harmonics influenced by alternative R&B. Together, all of these elements form the pillars of his music.
